As the ABS primary grantee, Africa Harvest has the mandate for the general leadership and management of the project. Among the key milestones achieved by the consortium in the last four years is:

Africa Harvest is a non-profit organization with a global vision and an African focus. It is governed by a Board of Directors comprising of a rich mix of expertise in the various facets of organizational governance and management, with balanced gender and geographical representation.

The project leadership is provided by the Project Steering Committee (PSC), whose responsibility it is to provide vision, general oversight and direction to the project. The PSC is the project clearing house and has the mandate to oversee operations and to develop and execute the ABS strategic thrusts.

The team leaders management group (TLMG) is composed of consortium institutional team leaders. They are responsible for the project implementation and delivery on behalf of their institutions. They oversee work progress in their respective institutions, manage risks, develop and effect mitigation strategies.
